Here are 25 of our classmates that I hope had a great time Friday night at Woodcrest. I know Debi and I did.  It was great to see everyone. Can you put names to the faces? We all had our  moment of, "I know I know that person?"

Saturday morning golf. Rod Taylor, Dave Schwarz, Rick O'Toole, and Randy LaForte.

Perfect weather greeted Class of 69 golfers Saturday morning.

Jim, Keith, and Kenn Friday afternoon trying to work up a couple songs for Saturday night. We haven't played together in 40 years. Don't worry, there will be real musicians there too!

Saturday Night
This picture doesn't show the mood at the moment. The whole group was the backup singers and dancers to the the band, one second before and one second after this picture was taken. If someone has a video of us swaying to the music as one, I have to have it! I think fun really happened Saturday night.

This will always be the highlite of the night for me. The culmination of a wonderful segment of memorium for our departed classmates, officiated by Mike Grinnals and Dick Devendorf. The nature of the bagpipe as an instrument doesn't really allow the musician to show the emotion put into the performance like a guitar, bugle, or violin does. I snapped this picture just at the end of "Amazing Grace" and I could feel  Mark's emotion and dedication to the moment. I was moved beyond the edge of tears.

This is the group that lingered just long enough at the picnic for Linda Newton  to wrangle us up for a picture. We had another lucky period of great weather for our event. Left to right: John Klein Jr; Jim Newton, Mark Grasmeyer, Rick Tobin, Keith Bradshaw, Sue Collins Stankivitz, Cheryl Caswell, Ken Caswell, Linda Newton.

CLICK HERE for more pictures from Saturday night. Also, there are  additional pictures that will be available through Kris Burkey's site at Memories to Last Forever.  The pictures will be added to the CD she has available for purchase.

Thank you Kay Storer Lamaitis for sending us The Baby Boomer's Battle Hymn.

This is the official Chittenango High Class Of 1969 web site.   Our 40th reunion was held on the weekend of July 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2009  at Woodcrest Golf Club. Check their website at  www.woodcrestgolfclub.com The setting was great with a beautiful view of Oneida Lake and everyone had a great time.

Did you go to Woodstock ? We had a Woodstock reunion party at Debi's brother Ken's house on 8/15th & 8/16th. I have a picture up on my Profile Page. ( you must be logged on to view the page) If you have any Woodstock celebration pictures of your own, be sure to send them to me to put on the website.
